While this date reflects our latest plans, it is subject to change, and postings may be extended or removed earlier than expected.\nWe Take Care of Our Team\nPosition offers a starting salary range of $78,000 - $100,000 USD\nPay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience\nBenefits include annual bonus program; 401k company contribution with company match up to 6% as well as non-elective company contribution of 3 - 7% depending on age; starting at 4 weeks paid vacation; 15 calendar holidays; 8 weeks paid parental leave; employee assistance program; comprehensive healthcare plans and wellness programs; onsite fitness (at some locations); tuition assistance and volunteer paid time off; short-term and long-term disability plans.\nWhat You Drive at DTNA\nOversee daily operations and throughput for the Engine Assembly and Transmission Assembly production lines.\nLead daily shift huddles and coordinate manpower assignments to ensure optimal production line balancing.\nEnforce corporate safety protocols and conduct regular audits to maintain a zero-incident shop floor environment.\nMonitor and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) including powertrain assembly quality targets, defect reduction, and schedule adherence.\nCoach, mentor, and evaluate assembly technicians to foster professional growth, cross-training, and strong team morale.\nTroubleshoot operational bottlenecks in real-time, collaborating cross-functionally with Powertrain Engineering and Quality teams to resolve issues.\nChampion Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives by identifying waste and implementing lean manufacturing principles (TOS/VPS) on the line.\nKnowledge You Should Bring\nBS/BA and 4 years of relevant experience preferred OR 6+ years relevant experience leading teams of people in a high-volume manufacturing or logistics setting in lieu of a degree.\nStrong baseline knowledge of manufacturing processes, mechanical assembly operations, or industrial production environments.\nDemonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and handle conflict resolution within a diverse team on a fast-paced shop floor.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional support teams.\nBasic proficiency with digital tools, shop floor tracking software, or standard office suites (e.g., Microsoft Office).\nExceptional Candidates Might Have\nPrior supervisory or team lead experience specifically focused on automotive, heavy truck, or aerospace powertrain (engine/transmission) assembly.\nHands-on experience applying Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or 5S methodologies to eliminate waste.\nProven track record of participating in or leading continuous improvement (CI) workshops or Kaizen events.\nProficiency using Workday or plant floor management systems to track attendance, scheduling, and line performance.\n#LI-LL1 #LI-Onsite\nWhere We Work\nThis position is open to applicants who can work in (or relocate to) the following location(s)-\nByesville, OH US.
