Working closely with suppliers, production, purchasing, and logistics teams, you will balance customer demand, inventory levels, and production schedules to ensure the right materials are available at the right time. Assess production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials and quality control measures. \nEstimate/forecast materials requirements. Confer with department supervisors to assess progress and discuss the changes needed. \nRequisition and maintain inventories of materials, supplies and equipment necessary to meet production demands. \nMonitor inventory to standard metrics, including turns, target inventory and excess/obsolete disposition practices \nRevise production schedules when required due to labor or material shortages, backlogs or other interruptions, collaborating with management, production, engineering and work orders. \nMonitor shipping and receiving operations of the facility, distribute production schedules, and work orders to departments.\nEscalation point of contact to supply base, internal partners/departments and Corporate management to ensure assembly production to plan. \nEstablishes high level of interaction with Canton PDC to ensure successful supply chain flow. \nSupports the implementation of the RPPL Materials tasks/objectives during the launch of the new products. \nCoordinate accounting activities for purpose of invoice corrections/transmittal information, price corrections, and material cost calculations. High level of attention to detail needed.\nMinimum Required Knowledge and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field AND 2+ years of experience in Material purchasing and planning in a manufacturing setting, OR minimum of 6 years experience in Material purchasing and planning in a manufacturing setting in lieu of a degree\nExperience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.For example: Microsoft Navision, Business Central or Paragon/SAP\n\nMicrosoft Office proficiency.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nHigh level of ability to multi-task\nAn attached resume is required\n\nPreferred Knowledge and Experience:\n\nFamiliarity with manufacturing processes\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings and specifications\nExperience utilizing PowerBI dashboards for data analytics\nExperience utilizing self serve data to analyze and improve planning systems\nExperience leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve productivity, efficiency, or business outcomes\nWhere We Work\nThis position is open to applicants who can work in (or relocate to) the following location(s)-\nTooele, UT US.
