This role supports production operations by performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, and ensuring equipment reliability and safety.Posting Information\nWe provide a scheduled posting end date to assist our candidates with their application planning. While this date reflects our latest plans, it is subject to change, and postings may be extended or removed earlier than expected.\nWe Take Care of Our Team\nRequirements:\nPerforms stick and mig welding and burning operations.\nFabricates machine and equipment parts using burning and welding operations as well as with equipment such as shears, punch presses, press brakes, drill presses, milling machines, grinders, lathe, etc.\nInstall motors, machinery, and equipment according to layouts, blueprints and drawings.\nRun threaded piping systems, 2” and smaller.\nPerforms painting operations as directed.\nPerforms mechanical maintenance from workshop orders, preventative work orders as well as from written, drawn and verbal instruction.\nQualifications:\nFour (4) years minimum preferred maintenance experience or Journeyman card.\nWorking knowledge of Industrial maintenance (electrical and mechanical technologies)\nHigh school diploma required.\nAssociate’s degree preferred.\nPractical knowledge of Preventative Maintenance Systems and Root Cause Failure Analysis, required.\nMust be able to work second or third shift\nAn attached resume\nTools and Equipment:\nUses burning equipment to dismantle assemblies, as well as cut materials to size and shape.\nUses welding equipment to join various types of assemblies and metals.\nSafely and successfully installs equipment and machinery using hoists, lifts, lift trucks, hand and power tools, lasers, squares, levels, rulers, micrometers, etc.\nRuns various types of threaded piping systems of air, gas, steam, condensate, process, etc.\nOperates mill, grinders, lathes, drill presses, broaches, etc. Repairs and lubricates equipment and machinery.\nLayout painting and striping projects.\nOperates and repairs spray painting equipment.\nPerform other duties as required.\nWhere We Work\nThis position is open to applicants who can work in (or relocate to) the following location(s)-\nMount Holly, NC US.
