As a service provider, Frencken Mechatronics also produces high-quality precision components and modules for leading clients in the high-tech industry.\nMajor Duties & Responsibilities\nAct as first point of contact for suppliers in case of any operational questions including the submission of forecast information about future needs.\nExpedite/ schedule out deliveries to ensure material ordered is delivered/ pushed out within the agreed timeframe, and at the required inventory and quality level.\nDaily follow-up with supplier on deliveries at risk and timely escalation to the next level if required.\nPrepare the Freight Cost Non-Product Related (NPR) Template based on invoices provided by Accounts Payable (AP) Officer.\nMaintaining vendor master data in the ERP system related to operational exchange of information with vendors, like contact and address information of the Vendors used.\nCo-ordinate discussion on indirect and direct material issues with Project team.\n Co-ordinate monthly review with vendors on operational performance regarding quality and logistics.\nSubmission of quality specification from vendor as per customers requirement.\nLiaise with Account Department on payment matters.\nResolve supplier's delivery discrepancy with warehouse.\nMonitor RTV replacement with supplier until closure.\nMinimum Job Requirements\nEducationAssociate or Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering preferably supplemented with certifications in supply chain/procurement, such as NEVI, CIPS etc.\n\n Experience3 years experience in operational procurement.\nExperience with ERP systems and material planning (“MRP”).\nExtensive knowledge of MS office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook).\n\n Working SkillsProcurement Knowledge: Understanding of procurement processes, procedures, and best practices.\nNegotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate contracts and terms effectively with suppliers.\nSupplier Management: Skills in managing supplier relationships and evaluating supplier performance.\nAnalytical Skills: Ability to analyze purchase data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.\nAttention to Detail: Precision in processing orders, managing inventory, and ensuring accuracy in documentation.\nCommunication Skills: Clear and effective communication with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and team members.\nProblem-Solving Skills: Ability to address and resolve procurement issues quickly and effectively.\nTime Management: Managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.\n\nWhat do we offer?\nFrencken is characterized by an informal and collegial atmosphere where every individual is important.
