As a service provider, Frencken Mechatronics also produces high-quality precision components and modules for leading clients in the high-tech industry.\nCoordinate technical and DFM discussions between sales, customers and internal engineering teams.\nReview customer drawings/specifications and establish manufacturing feasibility and costing requirements.\nRecommend DFM solutions, manufacturing methods and cost optimisation opportunities.\nEstablish technical assumptions, process requirements and costing basis for quotation.\nEscalate technical, commercial and manufacturing risks to relevant stakeholders.\nReview customer drawings, specifications and RFQ requirements to assess manufacturability and technical feasibility.\nLead DFM discussions with customers and relevant stakeholders to clarify requirements and propose practical manufacturing solutions.\nDevelop and illustrate manufacturing concepts and process flows to support DFM and cost estimation.\nPrepare detailed and justifiable cost estimates covering the full spectrum of product development and manufacturing requirements.\nSupport continuous improvement and engineering activities and liaison with relevant stakeholders.\nRequirement:\nMin. Diploma / Degree in Advanced Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.\n3 - 5 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor equipment / precision engineering industry.\nExperience working collaboratively with customers, suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.\nStrong knowledge and exposure to manufacturing and tertiary processes.\nHands-on exposure to machine operation and shop-floor manufacturing activities.\nPractical experience in continuous improvement and structured problem-solving for manufacturing and quality issues.\nWorking Skills & Attitude:\nProficient in Microsoft Office; able to prepare clear technical reports, trackers and presentations.\nProficient in SolidWorks and SolidCAM, or equivalent CAD/CAM software.\nAble to interpret complex mechanical drawings, GD&T, specifications and manufacturing requirements.\nFluent in written and spoken English, with strong customer and cross-functional communication skills.\nPassionate and takes pride in delivering quality engineering work.\nSelf-motivated, driven and accountable for assigned responsibilities and deliverables.\nStrong team player who collaborates effectively and contributes towards shared goals.\nCWI is a plus.\nWhat do we offer?\nFrencken is characterized by an informal and collegial atmosphere where every individual is important.
