As a service provider, Frencken Mechatronics also produces high-quality precision components and modules for leading clients in the high-tech industry.\nJob Description\nMonitor and improve production performance including yield, FPY, scrap, and rework.\nProvide hands-on technical support to resolve assembly and testing issues on production modules.\nParticipate in Material Review Board (MRB) and provide technical evaluation for product acceptance or rejection.\nLiaise with customers and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and ensure timely closure. Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions (8D) for production and quality issues.\nDevelop, implement, and maintain production layouts, assembly processes, and workstations to support efficient manufacturing.\nCreate, update, and control manufacturing documents including Work Instructions (WI), Process Flow (PF), Process Control Plan (PCP), and PFMEA.\nConduct cycle time studies, capacity analysis, and line balancing to meet production demand.\nDesign, review, and release jigs, fixtures, and special tools to support assembly and testing operations.\nDrive process improvement initiatives focusing on productivity, quality, delivery, and cost reduction.\nTrain and guide operators and technicians on new processes, tools, and work instructions.\nManage production special tooling and coordinate facility maintenance when required.\nProvide technical input for DFM/DFA reviews with customers and internal teams.\nSupport internal, external, and customer audits (ISO and customer-specific requirements).\nSupport New Product Introduction (NPI) on documentation and technical review.\nContribute to cost reduction initiatives through process optimization and design-for-manufacturing improvements.\nAble to travel overseas when required.\nPerform ad-hoc engineering assignments as assigned.\nDefine preventive maintenance (PM) requirements. \nRequirements\nProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).\nSolidWorks knowledge is an added advantage.\nStrong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.\nUnderstanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) structure.\nAble to read mechanical drawings with basic understanding of GD&T.\nWhat do we offer?\nFrencken is characterized by an informal and collegial atmosphere where every individual is important.
