Safety as our number one priority pushes us to constantly learn about the ever-changing needs in safety critical environments to deliver innovative solutions.\nKey Tasks\nDesigns, develops, implements, and validates IT system solutions for networking, computing, and our propriety communications equipment.\nLeads a teams of project engineers.\nDefines scope, objectives, deliverables, and delegates project tasking to other system engineers on the team.\nCollaborates with customers, vendors, and internal teams (e.g., program management, hardware & software development, test engineering, field engineering, production) for total project success.\nInvestigates and applies innovative technologies or methodologies to improve project outcomes, efficiency, or sustainability.\nPerforms risk assessments to identify potential project obstacles and devises mitigation strategies for successful project outcomes.\nEstablishes a system design including conceptual, functional, and physical designs of large scale, distributed systems.\nDesigns, integrates, supports, and debugs complex mission critical systems implemented in high availability architectures.\nProvides systems and integration engineering for software and hardware systems, subsystems, modules, and application tools.\nCreates, reviews, and approves technical documentation (e.g., design drawings, design reviews, system layouts, system configuration, build plans/instructions, rollout strategies).\nTakes ownership of Engineering related deliverables and their technical compliance required by the program.\nEnsures adherence to industry standards, regulations, and best practices.\nManages expectations and resolves project-related issues.\nKey Qualifications\nBS or MS in Information Technology, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience with IT systems and engineering.\n8-10 years’ experience in Systems Engineering integrating, deploying, and supporting integrated hardware and software solutions in the area of networking and communications.\nProven experience in leading and mentoring system engineering project teams.\nDemonstrates the ability to implement and apply best-practice system engineering concepts and appropriate risk management to solutions.\nAble to learn, select, and integrate new technologies into system solutions.\nCandidates should meet the requirements for a Public Trust Clearance FAA Suitability determination.\nOur Values\nFrequentis USA is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
