Safety as our number one priority pushes us to constantly learn about the ever-changing needs in safety critical environments to deliver innovative solutions.\nKey Tasks\nDesign, develop, and execute system test procedures for both hardware and software components\nDemonstrate a strong understanding of testing principles, including thorough test documentation, test coverage & traceability, and Test Verification Methods\nCollaborate with Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to define and analyze system requirements.\nConvert system requirements into comprehensive system-level verification test procedures.\nPerform functional, maintenance/reliability, stability/load, performance, analysis, security, voice quality, and environmental tests\nPlan verification strategies and test specifications based on customer and product requirements, software and hardware requirements, and use case scenarios.\nManage test environment for assigned Test program(s), including managing test scripts and test equipment\nIdentify and fully document any defects/unexpected anomalies identified during testing with instruction of how to recreate the issue\nReview and interpret system and software requirements from a testability perspective\nMaintain well organized record of test results and generate historical analysis of test results\nCommunicate technical issues or project details with Test Management, Engineering, and stakeholders\nKey Qualifications\nExperience in developing internal and deliverable test plans and test procedures, preferably for mission critical equipment, within a regulated engineering environment.\nAbility to write clear and concise test plans and test procedures based on system requirements and clearly document defects.\nExcellent problem solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.\nExperience working with telecommunications/telephony systems and related technologies (VoIP, T1, ISDN, POTS, TDM).\nExperience with bug-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA (preferred)) and Test Management Systems (e.g., JAMA)\nStrong written, communication, and organizational skills\nBS in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience with IT and telecommunications hardware and software or applicable certifications/experience\nOur Values\nFrequentis USA is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
