These ‘Control Centre Solutions’ are developed and distributed by Frequentis in the business segments Air Traffic Management (civil and military air traffic control, aeronautical information management, air defence) and Public Safety & Transport (police, fire and rescue services, emergency medical services, vessel traffic and railways). With headquarters in Vienna, the company employs more than 2300 people worldwide, with subsidiaries, regional offices and representatives in over 50 countries.\nIn Cluj we started in 2009 and our local team currently has 250+ colleagues and is growing.\nYou will work on a microservices based framework MosaiX utilized across the company to run and integrate multiple Frequentis Air Traffic Management products. You will develop reusable services, software packages and libraries to be used by other teams in the company. The platform runs on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, handles the deployment and configuration of the OS and supports the configuration and orchestration of containerized services.\nYou will contribute to continuously modernize and evolve our deployment and configuration automation solution, to keep up with state of the art technologies and methodologies.\nWe are developing for a safety-critical environment, following industry standards, where high availability and redundancy are basic requirements.\nKey Tasks\nTake part of the daily work of the scrum team consisting of Test Automation Engineers, DevOPS/Support Engineers. \nTroubleshoot problems in the MosaiX platform environment identify the root cause and resolution/mitigation for the project \nSupport the continuous system level integration of our platform and products and identify and test relevant failure modes, resp. help identify mitigations to reduce the effects of such failure modes on regular operation of our systems \nWork closely with other development teams in migrating and running their software on the platform by organizing workshops, training sessions and providing active support \nSupport our clients and the internal development team in the deployment and upgrade procedures of our platform \nAll tasks will be done keeping in mind that we are operating in a safety critical domain \nKey Qualifications\nLinux (RHEL) deployment and administration \nExperience with RHEL HA (pacemaker, corosync) \nIP networking know-how \nExperience in configuration management and deployment tools (Ansible, Puppet) \nScripting experience (bash, Python), and a mindset to treat infrastructure as code \nSolid knowledge and understanding of Docker and its ecosystem \nExperience in running large high available server-based systems, operational experience with microservices based systems \nExperience with continuous delivery pipelines and build tools (Jenkins, Maven) \nExperience with network and application monitoring tools (Prometheus/Grafana/Zabbix) and logging (ELK stack) \nStrong focus on IT and network security, experience in an Integrated Identity Management solution is a plus (Red Hat IPA) \nGood English skills (both written and spoken) \nExperience with providing active support is a plus \nOur Values\nFrequentis team is committed to creating a safer world with our innovative strength and technology orientation.
