It is based on a state-of-the-art service-oriented architecture, facilitating the transition of pure legacy-based voice communications systems to datacenter oriented systems.\nWe’re looking for a hands-on System Engineer to own the reliability, security, and evolution of our test and pre prod ecosystems. If you thrive at the intersection of DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering this role is for you.\nKey Tasks\nEnd-to-end testing of product features, including non-functional testing of the X10 VCS and the integrated solution\nOwn the lifecycle of test and staging environments: provisioning, configuration, upgrades, capacity planning Integrate and test off-the-shelf applications into our product offering\nBe an escalation point for environment issues; analyze, identify and document the root causes of all technical issues and implement corrective/preventive actions \nRequirements Engineering - making sure that customer requirements are fully traced and aligned with product requirements and functionality\nSupport the continuous system level integration of our platform and products and identify and test relevant failure modes. Help identify mitigations to reduce the effects of such failure modes on regular operation of our systems\nSupport our clients in the deployment and upgrade procedures of our platform\nAll tasks will be done keeping in mind that we are operating in a safety critical domain\nKey Qualifications\n5+ years in System Engineering / DevOps / SRE (or similar) supporting test/pre-prod environments. \nKnowledge of Unix and Virtualization technologies (VMWare)\nDocker technology and its orchestration\nExperience in running large high available server-based systems, operational experience of micro-services systems is an advantage\nNetworking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP, DNS, Load balancing) and packet analysis tools (Wireshark).\nExperience with network and application monitoring tools (Prometheus/Grafana/Zabbix)\nScripting experience (bash, Python) and a mindset to treat infrastructure as code\nStrong focus on IT and network security, \nExperience with an Integrated Identity Management solution is a plus (Red Hat IPA)\nOpen to traveling to customer premises for delivery/deployment/training activities\nGood English skills (both written and spoken)\nOur Values\nFrequentis team is committed to creating a safer world with our innovative strength and technology orientation.
