These ‘Control Centre Solutions’ are developed and distributed by Frequentis in the business segments Air Traffic Management (civil and military air traffic control, aeronautical information management, air defence) and Public Safety & Transport (police, fire and rescue services, emergency medical services, vessel traffic and railways). With headquarters in Vienna, the company employs more than 2300 people worldwide, with subsidiaries, regional offices and representatives in over 50 countries. \nIn Cluj we started in 2009 and our local team currently has 250+ colleagues and is growing.\nKey Tasks\nService Security and Compliance:\nSecurity Governance & Compliance: Improve and maintain the ISO 27001 ISMS, ensuring security best practices are embedded in services. \nSecurity Architecture: Design and implement robust security frameworks for service operations, balancing business needs with cybersecurity standards. \nSecurity Policies & Guidelines: Create and refine security and operational guidelines for service management aligned with ISO 27001 and NIS2. \nSecurity Integration: Align security with ITIL-based service management, ensuring compliance and security efficiency. \nSecurity Services Portfolio: Contribute to the development of new security services within Frequentis’ service offerings. \nOperational and Tender Response Duties:\nTender & Offer Support: Develop security concepts and contribute to technical responses in tenders. \nSecurity Approvals: Evaluate security impacts of architectural changes and mitigate risks. \nIncident Response: Actively participate in the Frequentis Security Incident Response Team (SIRT), ensuring effective threat response. \nProcess Optimization: Continuously assess and improve security and service management processes. \nKey Qualifications\nRequired:\nTechnical degree in IT, cybersecurity, or telecommunications (or equivalent experience).\nExtensive experience in critical IT and telecom operations, with knowledge of highly available systems.\nDeep knowledge of ISO 27001, NIS-2, CIS Benchmarks, and cloud security frameworks.\nStrong understanding of IT Service Management (ITIL-based processes, incident response, change management, service design, and operations).\nExperience in security engineering, cloud security, and compliance auditing.\nPreferred:\nCertifications: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CCSP or ISO 27001 (Internal Auditor / Lead Implementer).\nCloud security certifications (Azure AZ-500, SC-900, AWS Security - Specialty, or similar).\nExperience in managed service and/or as-a-service business models.\nITIL v3 / 4 / version 5 Foundation certification.\nSkills and Abilities:\nSecurity Leadership & Communication: Ability to engage with stakeholders, simplify complex security concepts, and align security goals with business objectives.\nAnalytical & Problem-Solving: A structured approach to security risk analysis, incident response, and continuous improvement.\nSelf-Driven & Collaborative: Comfortable working independently in a global, cross-functional environment.\nMultilingual & Global Mindset: Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus) and willingness to travel internationally (~20%)\nOur Values\nFrequentis team is committed to creating a safer world with our innovative strength and technology orientation.
