IT Network Administrator is responsible for maintaining and managing the network infrastructure for our manufacturing company, Freres Engineered Wood. IT NetworkAdministratorwill also be responsible in providing technical support to maintain the organization’s computer and network systems, both hardware and software and other peripheral equipment to ensure optimal performance so that end users can maintain a high level of productivity. This position is essentially being groomed as a successor to the IT Manager. You will have hands-on technical work, while also taking on management responsibilities when appropriate.\nThis is not a remote or hybrid position. Onsite work will always be required.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\n\nManage an enterprise Microsoft infrastructure including MS O365 Administration, Active Directory, Domain Controllers, Windows Server, Windows 11, MS Teams\nProficient in the use of MS InTune \nSupport IT personnel in installing, upgrading, and monitoring network hardware and software components\nNetwork device management of firewalls, switches, and WAPs including security policies, troubleshooting, VLAN and port configuration, routing, and switching\nSupport the IT Manager in maintaining and enhancing Cybersecurity Tools and Policies\nSupport the IT Manager in managing mission critical third-party software and maintenance/upgrades\nSupport the IT Manager in the implementation and enforcement of network security policies, including firewall rules, intrusion detection, certificates, and access control measures\nProvide technical support for both hardware and software issues\nRegularly update and patch network devices and systems to protect against vulnerabilities\nAssist the IT Manager to develop and implement information security procedures and processes, including monitoring networks and systems for vulnerabilities, backup, storage and retrieval functions, which also include disaster recovery plans.\nAbility to develop relationships and coordinate with vendors and outside agencies for IT needs.\nMust continue to stay up to date with new technology and best practices.\nCommunicates and provides reports to the IT Manager and others as needed on a regular basis.\nExcellent team player with effective and positive communication skills. \nStrong time management, problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills\nOther responsibilities as assigned by the IT Manager\n\nOTHER RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nResponsibilities are not limited to the above-mentioned and may include assisting other branches with reasonable and related tasks.\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\n\nStanding, Walking, Sitting, Lifting, Carrying, Balancing, Stooping, Reaching, Handling, Feeling, going up and down stairs, sometimes working in confined spaces, Communicating, Acuity-Far, Acuity-Near, Depth Perception, and Field of Vision.\nMay require a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.\n\nYou must be able to work in an office environment as well as a shop environment as job duties require.
