Executes all day to day activities, balance the work load among collaborators, develop an effective cross training matrix, and collaborate with the other logistics personnel to utilize labor efficiently.\nPRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nAccurately and timely completes functions assigned to the logistics area to meet company production and inventory objectives.\nReceives Production Plan and develops production schedules for the production departments in support of the MPS.\nCreates and releases production orders inappropriate systems .\nAssists in all aspects of the BPR life cycle from creation, distribution, material consumption, review, corrections, release, and closure.\nCoordinates the acquisition and delivery of all materials needed by other departments including; raw materials, sub- assemblies, packaging, print plates, and all MRO supplies using the most effective inventory techniques.\nCreates production orders with assigned lot numbers in the system. Prepares and maintains a BPR control log book for all manually assigned lot numbers issued when the system is off line as required. Also maintains a log book for all TECO'd lot numbers.\nConfirms all production orders inappropriate systems , including that all raw material are consumed in the department with the barcode scanning system on the lines.\nMonitors material inventory in the production supply area and perform spot inventories to ensure that the inventory is accurately reflected. Follows up on any discrepancies in the materials forresolution.\nPrepares and prints the material kit list to be attached to all production batches for SAP bar-coding.\nInitiates, and follows up as needed on DN's, NCR's, DS's, SPR's, QFN's, and MADR's to facilitate a smooth flow of product through the production to release process.\nResponsible for all incoming shipments of materials and equipment as well as outgoing shipments; Domestic and International.\nPrepares appropriate documents for International/Domestic customers/suppliers.\nDelivers interplant packages and notifies personnel in regards to Chain of Custody (CoC), C.O.D.'s, Customer returns, etc.\nContinuous account of raw materials through a perpetual inventory system. Warehouse management tracking and verification of finished goods through internal process flows and release.\nAssists in the movement of materials and finished goods to and from Manufacturing Plant to multiple off-site facilities.\nProcures released finished good and quarantine finished good samples.\nInterfaces with internal and external customers for problem resolution.\nMaterials management record retention.\nParticipates and supports audits and process improvement activities.\nAssists with MRP and new part processing.\nResponsible for spare parts inventory system, including continuous improvement of the system.\nContacts are frequently with individuals representing other departments, and/or representing outside organizations. Contacts involve obtaining or providing information or data on matters of moderate importance to the function of the department or which may be of a sensitive nature.\nNormally receives no instruction on routine daily work, and general instructions on newly introduced assignments.\nMay provide assistance to junior level staff with more complex support tasks that require a higher level of understanding of functions, as directed by immediate supervisor.\nMay escalate issues to supervisor for resolution, as deemed necessary.\nReview and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state and federal laws and regulations.\nAssist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor.\nOther duties as assigned.\nAdditional responsibilities may include focus on one or more departments or locations.
