This role is responsible for environmental and microbiological sampling, sanitation verification, investigations, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive corrective and preventive actions.\nLocation: Massillon, Ohio (100% on-site)\nSponsorship: Not available for this position\nKey Accountabilities\nConduct environmental and microbiological sampling according to the Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP).\nCollect, label, document, and manage environmental swabs and samples.\nPerform routine testing including pre-operational, contact surface, air, water, and compressed air sampling.\nPartner with Production, Maintenance, and Sanitation teams on root cause investigations and corrective actions.\nMaintain environmental monitoring documentation and cleaning schedules.\nMonitor microbiological inventory and testing supplies.\nSupport customer, regulatory, and third-party audits.\nParticipate in food safety, sanitation, microbiology, and capital project meetings.\nJob Requirements\nDegree, coursework, or experience in Microbiology, Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field preferred.\nStrong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities.\nFlexible schedule with occasional early mornings, shift work, and weekends as needed.\nStrong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.\nWe invite you to be part of our exciting team and rapidly growing business.\nFresh Mark provides an excellent work environment and comprehensive benefits including paid vacations and holidays, educational assistance and reimbursement, health care with low premiums and deductibles, vision, 401K with company match and more.\nAbout Fresh Mark, Inc.\nAt Fresh Mark, people come first.
