This position is responsible for ensuring employee safety, food safety, product quality, production efficiencies, regulatory compliance, and team performance while meeting daily production goals.\nJob Type: Full-time\nSalary Range: $58,000-$62,000 based on experience\nThe supervisor position is salary exempt plus weekend pay.\nSupervisor Key Accountabilities\nMaintain and ensure the safety of all employees through training, enforcement of safety rules and compliance with all Fresh Mark, Inc. policies and procedures. \nMaintain a sound working relationship with bargaining unit employees. \nDrive departmental efficiencies and maximize productivity. \nMonitor and control inventory levels and yields. \nEnsure effective communications. \nControl labor costs; staffing and overtime. \nMonitor machinery to maintain quality and minimize downtime. \nMonitor product quality and flow to meet customer demands and requirements. \nPromote and maintain teamwork among employees. \nMinimum Requirements\nCombination of 2 years of education, training and/or work experience related to food production, manufacturing processes or related field. \nAvailability to work OT/weekends. \nSupervisors are expected to report one hour prior to their shift for start-up duties and be available to stay after the end of the shift to complete any necessary reports and/or paperwork. \nRole Specific Requirements:\n Production Supervisors: Bachelor’s degree (preferred); 2-4 years’ experience in a food production facility.\nThis list is not exhaustive.
