This role focuses on contract drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining, particularly within technology transactions.\nYou’ll work through simulated contract negotiations, evaluate AI-generated responses to legal scenarios, and develop rigorous evaluation frameworks that help improve how AI systems identify contractual risks and interpret legal language. Prior AI experience is not required.\nKey Responsibilities\nContract Review & Redlining\nPerform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.\n\nReview and assess contract language, proposed revisions, and negotiation positions.\n\nApply practical legal judgment to identify contractual risks and issues.\n\nEvaluate contract scenarios involving technology transactions.\n\nAI Response Evaluation\nReview AI-generated responses to contract scenarios.\n\nAssess outputs for legal accuracy, precision, risk identification, and appropriate interpretation of contract language.\n\nProvide clear, actionable expert feedback to improve model performance.\n\nEvaluation Frameworks\nCreate objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for assessing AI performance on contract-related tasks.\n\nApply evaluation standards consistently and rigorously.\n\nTranslate legal reasoning into structured feedback suitable for AI training and evaluation.\n\nCollaboration & Legal AI Development\nCollaborate with product and research teams to refine legal data, guidelines, and best practices.\n\nContribute practical insights from real-world contract negotiation and review.\n\nHelp improve AI-driven approaches to contract review and legal analysis.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n3+ years of in-house legal experience focused on technology transactions.\n\nStrong experience negotiating and reviewing:\nMaster Services Agreements (MSAs)\n\nNon-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)\n\nData Processing Agreements (DPAs)\n\nDemonstrated experience with contract drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining.\n\nStrong legal analytical and reasoning skills.\n\nExceptional written and verbal communication.\n\nMeticulous attention to detail.\n\nAbility to translate legal expertise and reasoning into clear, actionable feedback.\n\nExperience working effectively with cross-disciplinary teams.\n\nAbility to work in fast-paced environments and manage complex legal tasks independently.\n\nInterest in the intersection of law and technology.\n\nPrior experience with AI, legal technology, or AI training/evaluation is an advantage but not required.\n\nCorporate law firm
