You will be a hands-on presence in the field, monitoring performance, resolving operational challenges, supporting onboarding and activation activities, and serving as the key link between field teams and the wider Operations function.\nThis role is suited to someone who combines people leadership with strong coordination, problem-solving, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills and is comfortable working directly in the field.\nKey Responsibilities\nField Team Management & Performance\nManage and coordinate field Ambassadors operating across the Mahikeng region.\n\nAllocate and coordinate daily and weekly field activities.\n\nMonitor attendance, readiness, activity, and performance.\n\nEnsure Ambassadors understand their objectives, targets, and KPIs.\n\nIdentify performance gaps early and provide practical coaching and support.\n\nTrack progress throughout the week and proactively address areas where performance is falling behind.\n\nMaintain regular communication with the field team.\n\nField Operations & Support\nMaintain an active presence in the field and regularly work alongside Ambassadors.\n\nSupport difficult onboarding and customer or operational cases.\n\nHelp resolve challenges involving drivers, taxi operators, commuters, and other relevant stakeholders.\n\nEnsure Ambassadors have the equipment, materials, and information required to perform effectively.\n\nMonitor stock and operational requirements and raise requests early enough to prevent shortages.\n\nSupport the smooth rollout, activation, and ongoing operation of services within the region.\n\nTraining & Coaching\nSupport the onboarding and training of new Ambassadors.\n\nProvide refresher training where required.\n\nIdentify knowledge and capability gaps within the team.\n\nCoach Ambassadors to improve confidence, effectiveness, and field execution.\n\nEnsure Ambassadors understand the service offering, onboarding processes, support procedures, and appropriate stakeholder engagement.\n\nIssue Resolution & Escalation\nAct as the first management escalation point for regional operational issues.\n\nAssess issues that cannot be resolved by Ambassadors and step in where appropriate.\n\nCoordinate with relevant internal teams to reach timely resolutions.\n\nEscalate unresolved issues promptly with clear information and appropriate follow-up until resolved.\n\nReporting & Stakeholder Feedback\nProvide regular reporting to the Operations team covering performance, activity, challenges, and regional progress.\n\nGather feedback from Ambassadors, drivers, operators, and other stakeholders.\n\nIdentify recurring operational challenges, customer concerns, and opportunities for improvement.\n\nProvide practical feedback to the Operations team to support improvements to processes, training, and support.\n\nMaintain accurate operational information using digital reporting tools and spreadsheets.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\nExperience managing or coordinating field-based teams.\n\nStrong team management and performance management skills.\n\nExperience coordinating field activities, monitoring targets, and tracking KPIs.\n\nStrong organizational and problem-solving abilities.\n\nAbility to identify performance gaps and provide practical coaching.\n\nStrong conflict resolution and issue escalation skills.\n\nEffective training and coaching capability.\n\nExcellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication.\n\nAbility to produce clear operational reports and work with data.\n\nComfortable using smartphones, mobile applications, WhatsApp, digital platforms, digital reporting tools, and spreadsheets.\n\nStrong English communication skills.\n\nSetswana proficiency.\n\nValid driver's licence.\n\nReliable personal transport.\n\nMust reside in Mahikeng or the surrounding area.\n\nWillingness and ability to travel extensively within Mahikeng and surrounding operational areas.\n\nComfortable working in a highly field-focused, hands-on environment.\n\nAdvantageous Experience\nExperience in one or more of the following would be
