The Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is responsible for leading the company's financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting processes. This role partners closely with executive leadership and business stakeholders to deliver financial insights, support strategic decision-making, and drive business performance. The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen, analytical expertise, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to continuous process improvement. This role is the lead finance role for the North America business, reporting to a global CFO based in Europe.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nLead the annual budgeting process and long-range strategic planning.\nManage monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles.\nDevelop financial models to support strategic initiatives, investments, and business cases.\nAnalyze financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods.\nServe as a trusted financial advisor to business leaders.\nPartner with department heads to understand operational drivers and financial impacts.\nPrimary Commercial finance business partner, supporting (retail, wholesale, hospitality ecommerce, and Marketing teams to review monthly results, reporting, controls, analysis, and advice, to achieve the financial objectives established.\nDevelop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard the financial assets of the organization.\nRetail management of customer contracts, supporting channel director and operations manager with KPIs, producing Pro-Forma P&Ls as needed per store.\nHospitality management of KPIs, commissions calculations and payments, customer agreement review and implementation, and general support for channel director and team.\nWholesale management of consignment inventory and sales process, customer contracts, and general support for channel director.\nInventory management including obsolescence, slow moving SKU management to increase efficiency of working capital, strategic input on increasing/decreasing customer inventory.\nOversight of payment and allocation of warehouse costs and insuring that inventory physical counts match system-reported inventory levels.\nProvide actionable recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.\nEnsure accurate submission to head-office of monthly, quarterly and annual financial report packages and associated variance commentary and explanations.\nPrepare executive-level financial reports, dashboards, and presentations.\nMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.\nConduct variance analysis and explain business performance.\nPresent financial results and recommendations to senior leadership.\nEvaluate investment opportunities through financial modeling and scenario analysis.\nLead sensitivity and risk analyses for strategic projects.\nAssist in developing long-term financial strategies.\nImprove financial planning processes and reporting automation.\nWork with CEO to ensure programmatic success through cost analysis support, and compliance with all contractual requirements.\nDrive implementation and optimization of FP&A systems and reporting tools.\nStandardize reporting methodologies and financial metrics.\nPromote best practices in financial analysis and planning.\nIdentify and implement strategies to improve cost-efficiency and strengthen internal financial controls.\nManage and administer corporate card program, bank accounts, vendor payments and investments.\nManage relationships with auditors, banks, landlords, and regulatory agencies to maintain trust and alignment.\nLead, mentor, and develop a team of FP&A professionals and counsel to channel leaders across departments.\n Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field at an accredited college or university.\nMBA, CPA, CFA, or CMA preferred.\n5-8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related fields preferred.\n2-4+ years of people leadership experience preferred.\nExperience supporting executive leadership in a mid-size organization.\nExperience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and strategic planning.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.\nExperience with ERP systems (strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365).\nExperience with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) preferred.\nAbility to drive influence decision-making across multiple business functions.\nStrong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles (knowledge of US GAAP and general understanding of corporate accounting).\nAbility to translate complex financial data into clear business recommendations.\nHands on and self-starter who can set and manage their own priorities.\nWell organized and a team player.\nAbility to manage stakeholder relationships and lead change initiatives effectively.\nExcellent strategic planning capabilities.\nAdaptable and flexible in a complex, changing environment.\nAttention to detail while managing competing priorities and tight timelines.\n All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.\nIt is the policy and commitment of Frette to provide equal employment and advancement opportunities to all individuals.
