This position plays a key role in maintaining plant reliability, supporting production performance, and contributing to business success.\nLead and coordinate all electrical maintenance activities to support safe and efficient production operations.\nAllocate maintenance resources, prioritise workload, and oversee maintenance planning activities.\nSupervise, coach, and support maintenance personnel to achieve departmental performance and quality objectives.\nCoordinate permits to work and ensure maintenance activities are completed in compliance with applicable regulations and safety requirements.\nManage planned maintenance activities for critical plant and equipment to minimise downtime.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives and support Lean manufacturing practices across the business.\nSupport the Plant Maintenance Manager and provide operational updates and plant serviceability reporting when required.\nQualifications:\nEssential Qualifications and ExperienceCompleted recognised electrical apprenticeship.\n18th Edition qualification.\nTime-served Electrical Engineer.\nMinimum three years' supervisory experience.\nProven experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives within an engineering or manufacturing environment.\nStrong health and safety background.\nStrong communication, leadership, and team-management skills.\nDesirable Qualifications and Experience\nHND in a relevant engineering discipline.\nExperience in an electrical maintenance supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.\nExperience with Lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives.\nKnowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs).\nExperience training or mentoring electrical engineering apprentices.\nNEBOSH General Certificate or Supervisory Management qualification.\nStrong Microsoft Office skills.\n0 \nThe Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
