{"id":1994797,"url":"https://alion.io/job/freudenberg-facilities-manager","title":"Facilities Manager","company":{"id":5091,"name":"Freudenberg","domain":"freudenberg.com","url":"https://alion.io/company/freudenberg","size_band":"5000+","is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"Workday","truth_index":null},"role":"Operations","role_family":"Operations","seniority":"senior","employment_type":"full_time","work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["Baldwin Park, United States"],"countries":["US"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":{"min":120000,"max":150000,"currency":"USD","period":"year","gross":null,"usd_annual":150000},"salary_estimate":null,"experience_years_min":7,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[{"name":"Microsoft Office","optional":false}],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-09-24T00:00:00Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-09-24","last_verified_at":"2026-10-12T18:58:37Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":18,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":18},"description":"Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!\nResponsibilities:\nLead and develop the Maintenance and Technical Services team, providing hands-on coaching, troubleshooting expertise, and technical direction to technicians supporting manufacturing equipment and facility systems.\nDrive reliability, uptime, and performance of 55+ injection molding machines (Toyo, Engel, Battenfeld, and Arburg), related tooling, robotics, automation, and auxiliary equipment.\nServe as the primary technical escalation point for complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation-related equipment issues.\nPartner with Operations, Engineering, and Production leadership to reduce downtime, improve OEE, increase equipment reliability, and eliminate recurring equipment failures.\nDevelop and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs that minimize production disruptions and support business objectives.\nLead capital equipment installations, equipment upgrades, automation projects, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, scrap reduction, and cost savings.\nManage facility infrastructure and utility systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, compressed air, fire/life safety systems, generators, and building maintenance.\nEnsure maintenance activities, documentation, and equipment programs comply with OSHA, environmental, quality, and company safety requirements.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or related field preferred.\n7+ years of progressive experience supporting injection molding manufacturing equipment, maintenance operations, or technical services leadership in a regulated manufacturing environment.\n3+ years of experience leading maintenance, technical services, or manufacturing support teams.\nExtensive hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance experience with injection molding machines, preferably Toyo, Engel, Battenfeld, and Arburg equipment.\nStrong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, controls, servo systems, robotics, automation, auxiliary equipment, and molding process interactions.\nDemonstrated ability to mentor technicians, develop technical capabilities within a maintenance organization, and drive accountability for equipment performance.\nProven success reducing equipment downtime, improving reliability, and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.\nExperience with CMMS/ERP maintenance systems (SAP PM preferred), work order management, and maintenance planning.\nWorking knowledge of OSHA regulations, industrial safety practices, and facility utility systems.\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance reporting/analytics tools.\nThe expected salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000 annually, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications. \nThe Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
