You will own specifications, steer lifecycle decisions, and help bring competitive solutions to market worldwide.\nProduct standards: Define and continuously improve global core product specifications and selected regional standards.\n\nLifecycle ownership: Manage technical product decisions across the lifecycle, from launch (Stage-Gate/APQP) to optimization and phase-out.\n\nMarket translation: Translate market and business needs into development requirements and support cross-functional execution.\n\nValue creation: Improve performance, cost, and competitiveness through product enhancements and value engineering.\n\nTechnical expertise: Provide technical expertise for product releases, root cause analysis, complex issues, complaints, and customer inquiries.\n\nPortfolio strategy: Contribute technical insight, benchmarking, and roadmap input to strengthen portfolio strategy.\n\nMarket readiness: Coordinate certifications, test reports, and technical documentation for global market readiness.\n\nCross-functional partnership: Partner with engineering, production, sales, quality, purchasing, marketing, and global technical teams.\n\nQualifications:\nMaster’s or PhD degree in Chemical, Process, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Technology, or a related technical field (recent graduates with strong academic or research performance are welcome).\n\nInitial professional or research experience in product management, R&D, engineering, or a comparable technical environment (including internships, thesis projects, or PhD research).\n\nExposure to managing or contributing to technical products, development projects, or innovation topics.\n\nInterest in working across the full product lifecycle-from concept to market and continuous improvement.\n\nSolid understanding of technical concepts, testing methods, and documentation.\n\nFluent English skills (minimum B2 level, capable of technical discussions).\n\nBased in or willing to commute to Potvorice with a hybrid presence of at least 50% on-site per month, along with readiness for international travel (approx. 10-20%).\n\nNice-to-Have:\nExperience or interest in filtration, nonwovens, or industrial manufacturing.\n\nExposure to root cause analysis, failure analysis, or Stage-Gate development processes.\n\nExperience working in cross-functional or international environments.\n\n \nThe Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
