Define and implement process standards for new projects and localization. Develop and maintain PFMEA, work instructions, and layout management Tooling, Machine Design & Specification\nCollaborate with BU Process Team to define specifications for new tooling and machines.\nLead machine design reviews and ensure compliance with technical requirements.\nConduct testing and trials to validate machine performance against specifications.\nProcess Development & Optimization\n- Develop robust processes for new projects, localization, and product changes.\n- Implement Lean principles and automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce waste.\n- Analyze cycle time, ergonomics, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.\nProject Launch Support\nWork closely with the APQP team to meet launch timelines from Design Freeze to Start of Production (SOP).\nOrganize and manage trials, PTR, and support IRR activities.\nAssist in customer R@R audits.\nKnowledge Sharing & Continuous Improvement\nUpdate and share lessons learned, process standards, and engineering technologies with BU Process Team.\nDrive continuous improvement projects to achieve plant KPIs such as scrap reduction, productivity enhancement, VPS implementation, and cost savings.\nEnsure all HSE requirements are implemented within the assigned area.\nQualifications:\n.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.\nMinimum 5 years in process engineering within automotive or manufacturing industries.\nPreferred: Experience in automotive Noise, Vibration, Harshness (NVH) industry with complex projects and processes.\nHands-on experience with rubber-to-metal products, bonding applications, vulcanization, and assembly processes.\nProven exposure to machine design, process development, and automation implementation.\nExcellent problem-solving and project management skills.\nStrong knowledge of APQP, FMEA, Lean principles, and ISO/TS standards.\nExcellent problem-solving and project management skills.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings (GD&T).\nProficiency in CAD software for design and layout.\nBasic knowledge of PLC (Siemens) programming and troubleshooting.\nStrong understanding of safety standards and compliance in manufacturing environments.\n \nThe Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
