site-to-site connectivity.\n\nMonitor VPN performance and availability, ensuring secure and reliable access for users and systems.\n\nEnsure VPN configurations comply with organizational security policies.\n\nWireless Network:\nDeploy and manage wireless access points and controllers across office and campus environments.\n\nMonitor wireless network performance, coverage, and interference.\n\nImplement wireless security protocols including WPA2/WPA3 and guest access controls.\n\nIntegrate wireless LAN with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for centralized authentication, policy enforcement, and device profiling.\n\nProxy Operations:\nConfigure and manage proxy servers to control and monitor internet access.\n\nImplement URL filtering, content control, and user authentication policies.\n\nAnalyze proxy logs for usage patterns, security threats, and performance issues.\n\nFirewall Operations:\nAdminister firewall policies and rule sets to protect network boundaries.\n\nMonitor firewall logs and alerts suspicious activity and potential threats.\n\nCollaborate with security teams to implement intrusion prevention and detection systems.\n\nCloud Network Management:\nManage and monitor cloud-based networking components across platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.\n\nIntegrate on-premises networks with cloud infrastructure using VPNs and hybrid connectivity solutions.\n\nCollaborate with cloud architects and DevOps teams to support cloud-native applications and services.\n\nConfiguration & Deployment\nAssist in deploying and configuring network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, proxy servers, and wireless controllers.\n\nMaintain accurate documentation of network topology, configurations, and changes.\n\nSecurity & Compliance\nImplement network security measures such as ACLs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.\n\nSupport compliance with internal security policies and external regulatory requirements.\n\nSupport & Collaboration\nProvide Tier 2/3 support for network-related incidents and service requests.\n\nWork closely with system administrators, cybersecurity teams, and external vendors.\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.\n\n5+ years of experience in network administration or support.\n\nStrong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.\n\nExperience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network platforms.\n\nFamiliarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG).\n\nCertifications required/preferred:\n\nCCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) - required\n\nCCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) - preferred\n\nFortinet NSE 4 (Network Security Professional) or higher - preferred for FortiGate firewall management\n\nExperience with Cisco ISE, SD-WAN, and cloud networking certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer Associate) is highly desirable.\n\nPreferred Skills\nCLI configuration capability\n\nExperience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).\n\nKnowledge of ITIL practices and service desk
