Additionally, manages changes to existing tools and the maintenance thereof\n\nCollaborates with Manufacturing and Design team(s) in evaluating and validating products after design changes are introduced\n\nUses Design Software to create multidimensional prints to support product design and development\n\nEnsures that operations meet production standards and handles continuous improvement requests, while offering technical assistance to the Quality Assurance and/or Manufacturing Department(s)\n\nCreates purchase requisitions, customer quotations on product cost and lead times, and obtains vendor bids on equipment repair services\n\nTroubleshoots with Engineering to analyze problems with performance or tool life and recommends solutions using a data driven approach to tooling maintenance and repairs\n\nTracks shot counts and maintenance history in order to predictively schedule necessary actions to minimize tooling cost per shot, scrap generation, and machine downtime\n\nEstablishes and maintains budgets for tooling repair and maintenance\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Relevant Field; advanced degree preferred or compensating years of experience\nSpecified Years of Industry-relevant professional experience\nRelevant certifications, system experience, and training\nProfessional-Level English language skills preferred\nCommunication & Collaboration: Communicates clearly and concisely, while engaging proactively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.\nValue for Customers: Anticipates, understands and meets internal/external customers’ needs and expectations.
