Ensure the effective implementation of all necessary actions to improve logistics performance in a cost-efficient way.\nAs a Transportation Coordinator you will:\nPlay a key role in the development of a Continuous Improvement (CI) culture.\nCollaborate with Operations in order to map the existing procedures.\nDefine procedures for CI and ensure their effective implementation.\nCollaborate with other departments (i.e. technical dept., IT or product design) for optimization of overall efficiency.\nManage system changes related to Logistics (Specifications of development, tests, training of users).\nEnsure all partners (internal & external) are working effectively and efficiently.\nSet up reports and monitor performance.\nMonitor logistics costs.\nArrange International shipments by cntr/rail/truck/shipments\nContinuously valuate and try to improve distribution models and warehousing so as to develop business performance within the constraints of costs and legislation.\nUnderstand, keep abreast of, and comply with local regulations that may affect the operations.\nSeek out and evaluate solutions for bottlenecks / special cases concerning transportation, logistics systems or customer issues.
