Through expert reviews, industry insights, guides, and game comparisons, SiGMA Play helps players make informed choices while promoting transparency, player protection, and responsible gaming.\nJob Objective:\nThe Senior SEO Specialist is responsible for supporting the SEO Team Lead in developing, implementing and executing SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility, website traffic and overall search performance across our network of websites.\nThis role involves working across multiple aspects of SEO, including keyword research, competitor analysis, on-page optimization, technical SEO, content strategy and performance analysis. The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of SEO principles, be comfortable working with data and analytics, and have experience identifying and implementing opportunities for organic growth.\nExperience within the iGaming industry, particularly in online casinos, online slots and gambling-related websites, is a strong asset. Ideally, candidates will have at least 3 years' experience in an SEO role, with a proven track record of improving organic search performance.\nKey Responsibilities\nSEO Strategy & Implementation\nAssist the SEO Team Lead in developing and executing SEO strategies across assigned websites and markets.\nConduct comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities for organic traffic growth.\nPerform competitor analysis to identify SEO opportunities, gaps and areas for improvement.\nDevelop and implement on-page SEO strategies, including page structure, internal linking, metadata and content optimization.\nIdentify opportunities to improve website architecture, URL structures and overall search engine accessibility.\nMonitor search engine algorithm updates and industry developments, adapting SEO approaches accordingly.\nTechnical SEO & Website Optimization\nConduct regular technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues affecting website performance and search engine visibility.\nIdentify and investigate technical issues relating to crawling, indexing, redirects, canonicalization, page speed and structured data.\nWork with developers and other relevant departments to implement technical SEO improvements.\nMonitor website health and ensure SEO best practices are consistently applied.\nIdentify opportunities to improve internal linking structures and overall website navigation.\nPerformance Monitoring & Analysis\nMonitor organic traffic, keyword rankings, visibility and other relevant SEO performance metrics.\nAnalyse data from tools such as Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console to identify trends and opportunities.\nPrepare performance reports and provide actionable recommendations based on findings.\nIdentify underperforming pages and develop optimization plans to improve their organic performance.\nTrack the impact of SEO initiatives and assess their contribution to overall website growth.\nContent & Team Support\nCollaborate with SEO Content Team Leads to ensure content strategies align with SEO objectives.\nProvide keyword recommendations, content briefs and optimization guidelines to content teams.\nReview existing content and identify opportunities for improvement, consolidation or expansion.\nSupport junior SEO team members by sharing knowledge, providing guidance and reviewing their work where required.\nContribute to team brainstorming sessions, SEO strategy discussions and knowledge-sharing initiatives.\nAssist with prioritizing and coordinating SEO tasks across assigned projects.\nKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)\nSEO Performance\nGrowth in organic website traffic and search visibility.\nImprovement in keyword rankings and organic search performance.\nSuccessful identification and implementation of SEO opportunities.\nImprovement in organic performance of assigned websites and pages.\nTechnical SEO & Optimization\nSuccessful identification and resolution of technical SEO issues.\nCompletion of regular website audits and implementation of recommendations.\nImprovement in website crawlability, indexation and overall technical health.\nConsistent application of SEO best practices across assigned websites.\nReporting & Analysis\nAccurate and timely delivery of SEO performance reports.\nAbility to identify meaningful trends and translate data into actionable recommendations.\nRegular monitoring of competitors and search engine developments.\nEffective tracking and evaluation of implemented SEO initiatives.\nTeam Contribution\nActive participation in team meetings and strategy discussions.\nEffective collaboration with content, development and other relevant teams.\nContribution to the development of SEO processes and best practices.\nWillingness to support and mentor junior team members.\nPositive, proactive and collaborative attitude.\nSkills & Experience\nMinimum 3 years' experience in an SEO-focused role.\nStrong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.\nExperience conducting keyword research and competitor analysis.\nGood understanding of technical SEO, including crawling, indexing, redirects and canonicalization.\nExperience with Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.\nFamiliarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog or similar platforms.\nStrong analytical skills and the ability to interpret SEO performance data.\nUnderstanding of on-page optimization, internal linking and website architecture.\nAbility to identify SEO opportunities and translate them into practical recommendations.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nExperience within the iGaming industry is considered a strong asset.\nWhy SIGMA\nGrow with us -
