This role oversees project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring effective coordination between customers, Fronius USA, and Fronius International.\nKey responsibilities include managing project schedules, customer approvals, technical reviews, installation activities, commissioning, and final acceptance. The position drives collaboration across domestic and international teams, monitors project performance, mitigates risks, and ensures projects are completed on time, within scope, and to customer expectations.\nThe Group Leader - Project Support also provides leadership for the Project Support Team through resource planning, employee development, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with corporate project management standards and best practices.\nTasks and Responsibilities\nLeads and coordinates Fronius USA automation projects from kickoff through customer acceptance.\nDevelops and maintains project plans in collaboration with customers, Fronius USA, and Fronius International.\nParticipates in technical coordination meetings to support project execution and alignment.\nServes as the primary customer contact during project execution.\nCoordinates project technical checks, FAT, installation, SAT, final acceptance, and after sales customer support activities. \nSupports technical reviews, welding trials, project kickoff meetings, and design approval processes.\nMonitors project schedules, risks, scope changes, and critical issues, implementing corrective actions as required.\nEnsures compliance with corporate project management standards, processes, and work instructions.\nLeads resource planning and workload management for the Project Support Team.\nAll other duties as assigned by management.\nLeadership Tasks and Responsibilities\nCoordinates regular collaboration meetings with Fronius USA and Fronius International teams regarding resource planning, strategic initiatives, training, quality, and operational performance.\nLeads professional development initiatives aligned with business objectives and continuous improvement goals.\nManages team members in accordance with Fronius leadership principles.\nEnsures effective employee training, development, and knowledge-sharing within the department.\nSupports workforce and resource planning based on business needs and project demand.\nManages departmental budgets, cost center responsibilities, and team performance objectives.\nConducts and documents annual performance evaluations.\nSupports recruitment and onboarding activities in collaboration with management and Human Resources.\nPerforms other leadership tasks as assigned.\nRequirements\nAssociate degree in Welding Technology, Robotics, Manufacturing, or related field.\n2+ years of automation, robotics, or project coordination experience.\nStrong project management, organizational, and Microsoft Office skills.\nAbility to manage confidential information and customer interactions professionally.\nStrong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.\nSelf-motivated with a focus on continuous improvement and cost-effective solutions.\nRegular travel, including international travel.\nValid passport, or ability to obtain one.\nHealth and Safety\nAdhere to all Fronius USA and applicable regulatory health and safety requirements.\nAbility to perform work in office, laboratory, manufacturing, and customer site environments.\nCapable of standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and performing repetitive motions as required.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds\nWe offer a generous benefit package including:\nFlexible work schedule with hybrid options\nPTO available immediately plus 11 paid holidays\nEmployer matched 401(k)\nMedical, Dental, and Vision covered 100% for employees\n50% company paid Medical, Dental, and Vision for your family\nEmployee Assistance Program\nShort-Term and Long-Term Disability\nFlexible Spending Accounts for Health Care and Dependent Care\nFronius USA, LLC is proud to offer Equal Employment Opportunities and committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace.
