This role provides technical leadership across multiple programs, establishes engineering best practices, mentors engineering teams, and serves as a recognized subject matter expert for complex digital hardware systems.\n Lead digital hardware development from concept, architecture, schematic capture, PCB layout, verification, qualification, production release, and sustaining engineering.\nAct as the technical design authority for complex product development projects.\nIdentify and resolve complex hardware issues during development and post-production. \nWork with software teams, firmware teams, manufacturing teams, and other engineers to integrate hardware and software solutions. \nCreate detailed documentation for designs, testing procedures, and other relevant information. \nOptimize designs for performance, reliability, and cost. \nMentor engineers across multiple experience levels.\nLead Design Reviews\n Education & Experience:\nElectrical (Bachelor's degree) or Computer Engineering (Bachelor's degree)\nMinimum ten (10) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline. OR (14) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree. OR (7) years of experience may be considered w/ a Masters Degree. OR (5) years of experience may be considered w/ a PhD.\nExperience designing and testing digital electronic systems\nPreferred Qualifications:\nDesign experience with ARM or Intel based microprocessors. \nDesign with AMD And/Or Lattice FPGA’s\nProficiency in schematic capture with Siemens DXDesigner or Altium Designer\nExpertise with the design, constraint and integration of high-speed interfaces.
