This role independently executes complex hardware designs while collaborating with FPGA, firmware, software, systems, and manufacturing teams to deliver products that meet performance, reliability, and schedule objectives.\n Develop hardware designs for Space grade and High Reliability modules. This includes component selection, schematic capture, creation of design constraints and oversight of the layout process. \nPerform component trade studies and part selection. \nDevelop interface requirements.\nIdentify and resolve hardware issues during development and post-production. \nWork with software teams, firmware teams, manufacturing teams, and other engineers to integrate hardware and software solutions. \nCreate detailed documentation for designs, testing procedures, and other relevant information. \nOptimize designs for performance, reliability, and cost. \nParticipate in peer design reviews\n Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering. OR (6) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree.\nMinimum two (2) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline. OR No experience required in lieu of Masters Degree.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nDesign experience with ARM or Intel based microprocessors. \nDesign with AMD And/Or Lattice FPGA’s\nProficiency in schematic capture with Siemens DXDesigner or Altium Designer\nExperience with the design, constraint and integration of high-speed interfaces.
