Our core competencies include pre-clinical, drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics/ pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), safety and toxicology, bioanalytical services, chemistry and manufacturing controls for drug development, and core laboratory services for clinical trials.\nPosition Summary:\nThe Part-Time, off-hours Security Guard is responsible for monitoring facility security and building systems to help maintain a safe, secure, and properly monitored facility during off hours.\nResponsibilities:\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nFollow established facility security, safety, and emergency procedures.\nMonitor security camera screens for unusual or suspicious activity.\nConduct routine walkthroughs of the facility and surrounding areas.\nObserve the general condition and security of the building during rounds.\nMonitor the Environmental Monitoring systems and associated alarm screens via computer associated with:Refrigeration systems\nHeating systems\nCooling/HVAC systems\nFreezers and temperature-controlled equipment\nBuilding and facility systems\n\nRecognize abnormal temperatures, equipment alarms, security alarms, and other unusual facility conditions. Promptly acknowledge and evaluate alarms displayed on security, refrigeration, HVAC, freezer, and other monitored systems.\nContact emergency services when required by established emergency procedures.\nMaintain records of security rounds, alarms, incidents, and notable observations.\nMaintain professional communication with employees, contractors, visitors, and emergency responders.\nPerform other security and facility-monitoring duties as assigned.\nESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:\nBasic computer skills and ability to learn security monitoring of cameras as well as Environmental Monitoring software.\nAbility to remain attentive while monitoring multiple screens, alarms, and systems.\nAbility to walk throughout the facility regularly during assigned shifts.\nDependable, observant, and able to communicate concerns clearly.\nAbility to follow established alarm escalation, security, safety, and emergency procedures.\nThe ideal candidate will be a motivated team player with excellent communication skills.\nEducation and Requirements:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nFrontage Laboratories Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
