We're looking for people who share those values and want to grow with us.\nWhat you'll do:\nGrain operations\nOperate weigh scales, grain probes, elevator legs, conveyors, distributors, and dust collectors\nExamine grain samples for moisture, contamination, and overall quality\nLoad and unload grain trucks and rail cars; monitor grain flow and bin capacity\nMaintain grain quality during storage by managing aeration fans and monitoring for mold or insects\nMove or blend grain as needed to address quality issues\nSweep bins and clean boot-pits regularly to meet OSHA standards\nAssemble and dismantle flat grain storage structures including bunkers and aeration tubes\nOperate augers and skid-steer loaders to move grain in and out of flat storage\nAnhydrous ammonia\nSafely fill nurse tanks to a maximum of 85% capacity; monitor gauges and weigh filled tanks\nRecord outgoing and returning tank weights \nInspect and repair valves, tires, signage, hitches, u-joints, bearings, and pop-offs\nKeep tanks clean and report safety concerns or major mechanical issues to a supervisor\nAgronomy\nMix dry fertilizers and lime using a hopper scale and mixer \nOperate front loaders, skid-steer loaders, or augers to load mixes into tender trucks or spreaders\nMix and load liquid nitrogen or bulk chemicals into tender trucks for field delivery\nAssist custom applicators with hose connections, transfer pump operations, and blend ticket completion\nEquipment maintenance\nPerform routine maintenance on vehicles, machinery, and elevator equipment\nChange oil and filters; fix tires; replace bearings, brakes, belts, bulbs, fuses, wipers, and hydraulic hoses\nPerform preventive maintenance on dryer fans and elevator structures\nKeep all equipment clean inside and out to promote safety and a positive company image\nCustomer service & retail\nGreet customers promptly, listen to their needs, and resolve issues or escalate to a supervisor\nAssist customers loading products and secure loads for safe transit\nStock and rotate shelves, maintain proper product storage, and assist with inventory counts\nGrounds & facility\nMow, weed whip, spray weeds, remove snow, and grade rocked driveways\nFollow all company safety standards and comply with OSHA, state, and federal regulations\nWhat we are looking for:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; agriculture-related background preferred\n2+ years of agricultural experience preferred\nAbility to operate elevators, scales, skid-steer, auger, forklift, track mobile, and farm tractors\nStrong customer service and basic math skills\nKnowledge of OSHA, state, and federal safety regulations\nWhy join us?Full-time employees receive a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, finances, and future.\nPaycheck for life: Cooperative pension plan, plus 401(k) with traditional and Roth options\nComprehensive health coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, supplemental plans, and FSA/HSA spending accounts\nPaid time off: Vacation and sick leave to rest and recharge\nUniform & boot allowances: Annual allowances so you're always equipped and ready\n360 Wellness Program: Whole-person wellness with real incentives\nSign-on & referral bonuses: Get rewarded for joining and for bringing great people with you\nAdditional benefits available -
