What you'll do: Grain operations Operate weigh scales, grain probes, elevator legs, conveyors, distributors, and dust collectors Examine grain samples for moisture, contamination, and overall quality Load and unload grain trucks and rail cars; monitor grain flow and bin capacity Maintain grain quality during storage by managing aeration fans and monitoring for mold or insects Move or blend grain as needed to address quality issues Sweep bins and clean boot-pits regularly to meet OSHA standards Assemble and dismantle flat grain storage structures including bunkers and aeration tubes Operate augers and skid-steer loaders to move grain in and out of flat storage Anhydrous ammonia Safely fill nurse tanks to a maximum of 85% ca
