This role owns the translation of program and business requirements into implemented system behavior, ensuring data flows accurately across platforms, integrations function as intended, and solutions are tested, documented, and reliable in production environments. The Associate Business Systems Analyst works closely with internal teams, external stakeholders, and developers as needed, while maintaining direct accountability for system configuration, testing, and ongoing system integrity.\nKey Responsibilities include but are not limited to:\nOwn the configuration, behavior, and reliability of assigned business systems, workflows, and integrations.\nGather, analyze, and interpret business, program, and technical requirements and translate them into implemented system solutions.\nDesign, configure, and maintain workflows and data integrations between external data sources, middleware systems, and connected platforms.\nAnalyze system issues, identify root causes, and determine whether solutions can be resolved through configuration or require escalation to developers.\nPartner with developers when custom development is required by providing clear functional requirements, validating solutions, and confirming expected outcomes.\nLead and coordinate QA/QC and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to ensure solutions meet requirements prior to release.\nBuild and maintain system documentation, including process flows, data mappings, configuration notes, and user guidance.\nManage system changes end-to-end, including impact analysis, implementation coordination, validation, and post-implementation communication.\nServe as a technical point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders, explaining system behavior, constraints, and tradeoffs clearly.\nSupport multiple projects and system initiatives simultaneously while tracking progress, risks, and dependencies.\nRequired Skills\nHigh School Diploma or GED (General Educational Development) equivalent.\n2-3 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar system-focused role supporting software platforms.\nDemonstrated ability to translate business and program requirements into configured system behavior.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.\nExperience supporting system changes through implementation, testing, and validation. Familiarity with data integrations, workflows, and middleware architectures. Requirements-to-system translation\nSystem configuration and workflow design\nData integration and middleware fundamentals\nAnalytical problem solving and root-cause analysis\nQA/UAT coordination and validation\nClear technical and non-technical communication\nStrong documentation and process mapping\nAttention to detail and system accuracy ownership\nPreferred Skills\nExperience leading or coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).\nFamiliarity with Agile or iterative delivery methodologies.\nExperience documenting workflows and system logic using Lucidchart or similar tools. Understanding of APIs, data pipelines, or integration frameworks.\nExperience supporting production systems for external clients or regulated programs.
