The company seeks to strengthen its organizational structure, improve operational efficiency, enhance governance, and establish sustainable systems that support its long-term growth and competitiveness.\nThe Deputy General Manager will play a critical role in translating the company's strategic objectives into operational results, ensuring effective coordination across departments, and strengthening the company's management systems and overall performance.\nJob Summary\nThe Deputy General Manager will provide overall operational leadership and management oversight of the company’s steel manufacturing operations.\nThe position will support the General Manager in translating strategic priorities into operational results, strengthening management accountability, coordinating key business functions, and ensuring that approved plans, policies, decisions, and performance targets are effectively implemented.\nThe successful candidate will play a key role in improving operational performance, strengthening cross-functional coordination, developing a performance-oriented management culture, and reducing unnecessary dependence on the General Manager for routine operational decisions.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide overall leadership and management oversight of the company’s steel manufacturing GMoperations.\nSupport implementation of the company’s strategic and annual business plans and translate priorities into measurable operational targets.\nDrive achievement of approved production, productivity, efficiency, revenue, and operational-performance targets.\nEnsure effective coordination among production, sales, marketing, procurement, logistics, stores, finance, HR, and other supporting functions.\nReview organizational and departmental performance and ensure timely corrective action where required.\nHold managers and department heads accountable for agreed targets, responsibilities, deadlines, and management decisions.\nStrengthen delegation, management accountability, and systematic decision-making across the organization.\nProvide executive oversight of procurement, logistics, inventory, supply-chain continuity, and resource utilization.\nReview major operational, financial, commercial, quality, safety, and supply-chain risks and ensure appropriate management action.\nEnsure business activities are implemented within approved budgets, policies, procedures, internal controls, and delegated authority.\nPromote efficient utilization of production capacity, machinery, financial resources, and human resources.\nEnsure effective coordination between production and commercial functions to support customer requirements, delivery commitments, and market priorities.\nProvide oversight of workforce planning, management capability, performance management, and organizational development in coordination with HR.\nLead regular management and operational performance reviews and follow up on agreed actions.\nProvide the General Manager with timely reports on business performance, major risks, unresolved issues, and matters requiring executive decisions.\nSupport continuity of leadership and act on behalf of the General Manager when formally delegated.\nRequirements\nEducation\nMaster’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, Management, or another closely related field.\nBachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering, manufacturing, operations, business, or management discipline.\nAdditional professional training or certification in operations management, project management, quality management, supply-chain management or business leadership is an advantage.\nExperience\nAt least 8–10 years of relevant professional experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, engineering, operations management or related business management.\nAt least 5 years in a managerial or senior leadership role with responsibility for operational performance and cross-functional coordination.\nDemonstrated experience overseeing manufacturing or industrial operations and coordinating multiple business functions.\nStrong experience in production planning, operational performance, cost management, supply chain, quality, and resource utilization.\nHow to apply\nHow to ApplyInterested and qualified candidates are invited to submit their applications by completing the online application form through the Google Form link below no later than November 10, 2026.\nApplication Link: https://forms.gle/nJJwCc5PCjmUSGTw5\nOnly applications submitted through the Google Form will be considered.
