And we're now increasing our build pace.\nWhat You’ll Work On\nDepending on your strengths, you could work across:\nBackend APIs and services\nAndroid / iOS / web product features\nDatabases, caching and real-time systems\nAI-powered product capabilities\nDeveloper tooling and automation\nPerformance, reliability and technical simplification\nNew product experiments used by thousands of users\nYou're not expected to know all of this going in. You're expected to learn fast.\nWhat We Look For\nYou genuinely enjoy engineering. Code outside coursework, side projects, hackathons, open source - something you can show us. You care why something works, not just that it works.\n\nYou're already AI-native. You build with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or similar - and you're developing real judgment about it: how to break problems down for AI, how to inspect and challenge generated code, when to use AI vs. reason it out yourself, how AI changes architecture and speed. This matters far more to us than certificates or AI coursework.\n\nYou can reason through unfamiliar systems. Given a new codebase or problem, you don't wait for a ticket - you understand → investigate → hypothesize → build → test → improve, on your own.\n\nYou have strong fundamentals. Data structures, APIs, databases, Git, debugging, and at least one language you know deeply enough to build real software with. Our stack is Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, Redis, mobile, and cloud infra - but we hire for learning ability, not stack overlap.\n\nThis Role Is Probably Not For You If\nYou want an internship brand for your résumé\nYou wait for detailed specs before starting\nYou use AI mainly to generate assignments\nYou dislike debugging unfamiliar code\nYou want a structured, big-company engineering environment\nWhy This Could Be Interesting\nUnusually broad exposure, early - backend, mobile, databases, AI, and product decisions all interacting inside a live platform at scale, working directly with the people making the calls rather than several layers removed.
