This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced audit professional looking to take on greater responsibility, contribute to the development of the Audit practice and progress their career within a dynamic and supportive environment.\nThe Role\nAs an Audit Manager, you will take a leading role in the delivery and management of audit and assurance engagements across a diverse client portfolio. You will be responsible for managing engagements from planning through to completion, maintaining strong client relationships, leading and developing audit teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality work in accordance with applicable professional standards.\nWorking closely with Senior Managers and Partners, you will also contribute to the continued development and growth of the Audit practice, including resource planning, quality management, client development and the identification of new business opportunities.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and manage audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of local and international clients.\nTake ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and the firm's quality management procedures.\nReview audit working papers, key judgements, risk assessments and audit conclusions, ensuring that significant matters are appropriately identified, addressed and documented.\nReview statutory financial statements prepared in accordance with IFRS and applicable regulatory requirements.\nIdentify key audit and business risks and develop appropriate audit responses.\nAct as a key point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong professional relationships with management and other stakeholders.\nLead, supervise, coach and develop audit associates and senior associates, providing effective feedback and supporting their professional development.\nManage engagement budgets, deadlines, resource allocation and overall engagement performance.\nLiaise with Senior Managers and Partners on significant audit, accounting and client matters.\nSupport the implementation and ongoing development of firm-wide quality management and compliance procedures.\nContribute to the development of existing client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services and new business.\nParticipate in internal initiatives aimed at improving audit quality, efficiency, technology and working practices.\nContribute to the continued growth and development of the Audit team and the wider FRP Cyprus business.\n ACA or ACCA qualification.\nMinimum 5 years of relevant external audit experience.\nDemonstrable experience managing audit engagements from planning through to completion.\nStrong experience supervising, reviewing and developing junior and senior audit team members.\nStrong technical knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).\nAbility to identify and resolve complex audit and accounting matters, escalating significant issues where appropriate.\nStrong client management and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to deal directly with senior client personnel.\nExcellent analytical, organisational and project management skills.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills in English.\nAbility to manage multiple engagements, teams and deadlines simultaneously.\nKnowledge of the Cyprus business environment and regulatory framework would be considered an advantage.\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive salary and remuneration package, reflecting the candidate's experience and qualifications.\nPerformance-related bonus scheme.\nA supportive working culture with reasonable working hours, including during the traditional audit busy season, promoting a sustainable work-life balance.\nProfessional development and continuous training opportunities.\nClear opportunities for further career progression within a growing international professional services group with a strong UK presence.\nOpportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of local and international clients.\nGreater responsibility and direct exposure to Senior Managers and Partner.\nThe opportunity to be part of FRP Group plc, a leading UK-listed specialist business advisory firm, providing access to international expertise, resources and career development opportunities.\n Our Values\nStraightforward: We provide clear, no-nonsense advice\nConfident: Our guidance is backed by expertise and evidence\nPragmatic: We focus on practical solutions and tangible outcomes\nReal: We are professional yet approachable, understanding the challenges our clients face\nOur Commitment to You and the Environment\nAt FRP, sustainability is integral to our strategy and operations.
