Working closely with solicitors, insurers, counsel and other stakeholders, you will manage engagements involving the quantification of financial losses and support clients through complex claims and disputes. You will also play an important role in developing junior team members and supporting the continued growth of FRP's Forensic Services practice.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage a portfolio of personal injury forensic accounting engagements, acting as the primary contact for solicitors, insurers, counsel, and other stakeholders.\nPrepare and review financial loss calculations, including loss of earnings, business losses, pension losses, care claims, and dependency claims.\nAnalyse financial, employment, business, and tax records to quantify past and future economic losses.\nIdentify key quantum issues, determine information requirements, and assess supporting evidence.\nAssist in developing case strategy and advising on approaches to loss quantification.\nPrepare and review expert reports, schedules of loss, joint statements, and critiques of opposing expert evidence.\nSupport expert witness assignments, including conferences with counsel, mediations, and court proceedings where required.\nManage case deadlines, budgets, and resource requirements, ensuring efficient delivery of engagements.\nReview and supervise the work of junior team members, providing coaching and technical guidance.\nContribute to practice development through business development, client relationship management, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nTake a leading role in the development and growth of the personal injury practice, identifying opportunities to expand client relationships, enhance service offerings, and strengthen the firm's market presence within the personal injury sector.\n Essential\nACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification\nExperience within forensic accounting, disputes, expert witness or personal injury-related work\nStrong analytical and financial modelling skills\nExperience reviewing complex financial information and producing high-quality written reports\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills\nAbility to manage multiple engagements and competing deadlines\nExperience supervising, mentoring or reviewing the work of others\nDesirable\nExperience preparing expert reports, schedules of loss or joint statements\nExperience working with solicitors, insurers, counsel or other legal professionals\nKnowledge of personal injury, clinical negligence or fatal accident claims\nExpert witness training or other relevant specialist qualifications\n Our Values\nStraightforward: We provide clear, no-nonsense advice\nConfident: Our guidance is backed by expertise and evidence\nPragmatic: We focus on practical solutions and tangible outcomes\nReal: We are professional yet approachable, understanding the challenges our clients face\nOur Commitment to You and the Environment\nAt FRP Advisory Group, sustainability is integral to our strategy and operations.
