We began as an independent interface between our clients and their subcontractors to establish build clean installation methods that satisfied internal specifications and conformed to regulatory requirements.\nPosition Title: EHS Technician/Safety Representative\nPosition Description:\nImplement construction safety programs during the demolition and installation of semi-conductor tools as well as facility upgrades.\nSpecific job responsibilities include conducting daily field inspections using client inspection methods, providing technical safety information to contractors, reinforcing client’s Safety process and communicating client Safety expectations & procedures to construction foreman and work crews.\nEngineer / technicians will need to review contractor incident investigations to ensure root causes have been found and follow up on identified corrective action, as well as to perform incident investigations using formal root cause methods as required.\nSafety training for site specific needs may also be required to be conducted by engineer / technician.\nPosition Deliverables:\nResponsible for ensuring implementation of all elements of the EHS section within client’s Construction Management Processes are monitored and maintained at a minimum on the projects. \nWill interface with project management at all levels to provide EHS technical/tactical support\nWill perform audits of the site, provide coaching in needed areas to the craft personnel, identify areas for improvement and ensure that they are driven to closure. This includes active participation in the leading indicator programs associated with both safety and environmental. \nWill perform assessments during all install and de-install activities to ensure that the contractors are meeting client, Local, Federal and State EHS guidelines. \nWill participate as needed in administrative functions associated with EHS reporting and documentation. \nDocumented monthly compliance audit submitted to the Projects EHS Manager on site.\nDelivers a monthly report developed and agreed upon between the successful bidder and the Projects EHS Manager.\nMinimum Requirements & Expectations:\nEducation/ Experience\n2 Year Degree or High School Education with EHS Experience\n3 Years documented Semiconductor EHS experience\nSkills\nCapable of instructing regulatory and proprietary training as typically needed on a large industrial construction site\nAbility to interface with construction personnel in the field \n All parties authorized to permanently work in the USA are encouraged to apply.
