This role offers a unique mix of fieldwork, technical problem-solving, and project coordination, with the opportunity to work across a variety of high-profile project sites.\nIf you have a strong technical foundation and want to expand into commissioning and project delivery, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead and execute commissioning activities including installation verification, functional testing, and system validation\n\nTravel regularly to multiple project sites, gaining exposure to diverse systems and projects\n\nProduce clear, professional field reports, test documentation, and commissioning records\n\nReview design drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure alignment with project requirements\n\nParticipate in and lead commissioning meetings, driving progress and accountability\n\nPartner with construction teams to identify and resolve technical issues\n\nSupport project planning, scheduling, and coordination, contributing to successful project delivery\n\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders\n\nWhat You Bring\nDegree in HVACR, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management\nor equivalent hands-on trade/technical experience\n\n5+ years in construction, maintenance, or controls (or 1+ year in commissioning)\n\nExperience working with integrated building systems (HVAC, BAS, electrical distribution, fire alarm, etc.)\n\nStrong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and digital project/documentation tools\n\nFull driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly between project sites\n\nProven ability to solve problems independently and collaborate within a team\n\nConfident communication skills, including reporting and presenting\n\nComfortable working in field environments (including lifting, climbing, and varying conditions)\n\nNice to Have\nBackground as a Refrigeration Technician or Controls Technician\n\nExperience or interest in project management and project delivery\n\nIndustry certifications (EIT, CEM, OSHA 10, or similar)\n\nFamiliarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM)\n\nCompensation\n$90,000 - $120,000 (based on experience)\n Important: This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
