We are growing a new QA based team in Lebanon, Indiana at an exciting pharmaceutical facility build! We are seeking immediate support from experienced Electrical QA Inspectorswith a history of working a pharmaceutical, semiconductor, data center, or other high-tech facilities. This is a long-term opportunity that comes with excellent pay, strong benefits and a healthy travel/per diem package for travelling resources. Project location is Lebanon, Indiana. Just outside of the Indianapolis area. Position Summary\nThe Electrical Quality Inspectoris responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations and systems associated with the construction of a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility comply with project specifications, applicable codes, engineering drawings, and quality standards. This role supports the QA/QC program by performing inspections, verifying documentation, and ensuring that electrical installations meet the stringent requirements required for pharmaceutical manufacturing environments and GMP-compliant facilities.The Electrical Quality Inspector works closely with construction teams, subcontractors, engineers, and commissioning personnel to verify that electrical systems are installed correctly, safely, and in accordance with regulatory and project standards.\nKey Responsibilities - Electrical Quality Inspections\nPerform inspections of electrical installations including conduit, cable tray, wiring, grounding systems, panels, switchgear, and lighting systems.\nVerify installation of power distribution systems, motor control centers (MCCs), transformers, and instrumentation wiring.\nInspect installation of cleanroom electrical systems and classified area equipment ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.\nEnsure electrical work complies with NFPA, NEC, local codes, and project specifications.\nVerify electrical installations align with approved Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings.\nDocumentation & Quality Control\nReview electrical installation documentation including inspection and test plans (ITPs), method statements, material submittals, and electrical test reports.\nMaintain accurate inspection records, punch lists, and quality reports.\nIdentify non-conformances and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when required.\nTrack and verify corrective actions and re-inspections.\nTesting & Verification\nWitness and verify electrical testing activities including continuity testing, insulation resistance testing (Megger), and grounding verification.\nSupport pre-commissioning and commissioning activities by validating installation readiness.\nVerify labeling, identification, and documentation of electrical components.\nCollaboration & Coordination\nCoordinate with electrical subcontractors, construction supervisors, engineering teams, and commissioning personnel.\nParticipate in quality walkdowns, system turnovers, and punch list reviews.\nProvide technical guidance to contractors regarding quality standards.\nCompliance & Safety\nEnsure work complies with pharmaceutical industry requirements, GMP expectations, and quality documentation practices.\nVerify installations meet safety standards and site-specific electrical safety requirements.\nPromote a culture of quality, safety, and compliance on the project site.\nRequired Qualifications - Education\nAssociate degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related field preferred.Experience\n5+ years of electrical inspection or electrical construction experience.\nExperience on pharmaceutical, life sciences, semiconductor, or mission-critical construction projects strongly preferred.\nExperience with industrial electrical systems and large-scale construction projects.\nTechnical Knowledge\nStrong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and electrical construction practices.\nAbility to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.\nFamiliarity with GMP-regulated facilities or cleanroom environments preferred.\nSkills\nStrong attention to detail and documentation skills.\nEffective communication and coordination skills.\nProficiency with quality documentation systems and inspection reporting tools.\nPreferred Certifications\nCertified Quality Inspector (CQI) - ASQ\nNICET Electrical Certification\nOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Construction Safety\nElectrical Journeyman License (preferred but not required)\nWorking Conditions\nPrimarily field-based role on an active construction site.\nIt requires walking construction areas, climbing ladders, and accessing elevated work locations.
