We are looking for a Junior Accountant to own personnel records, document management, and primary documentation for our Ukrainian team. You will work alongside the accounting team and be responsible for the day-to-day paperwork that keeps the company legally compliant: personnel files, business trips, primary documents, and archives. In your first months, a significant part of the work will be restoring document archives for previous years. This role suits someone organized and precise who wants to grow - if you lack experience in specific areas such as military registration or business trip processing, we will teach you. You will report to the Financial Controller.

Responsibilities

Primary documentation

• Collect, verify, and process incoming primary documents (acts, invoices, delivery notes)
• Enter incoming documents into the accounting system
• Reconcile document registers
• Send documents by post
• Prepare requested documents for external and internal audits

Personnel records

• Process personnel documents for hiring, transfers, terminations, vacations, and sick leave
• Prepare applications, orders, and employment contracts
• Maintain employee personnel files and the staffing schedule
• Build and maintain the annual vacation schedule
• Keep employee military registration records in line with Ukrainian law
• Build and maintain the personnel records archive

Business trips

• Prepare business trip documentation and calculate per diems and expenses
• Prepare expense reports and verify the supporting documents submitted with them

Archives

• Restore archives for previous years: printing, organizing, and binding documents

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in personnel records, document management, or accounting
• Working knowledge of the Labor Code of Ukraine
• Confident PC user
• Confident with Excel, Google Sheets, BAS, M.E.Doc, and Vchasno
• Attention to detail and a structured approach to documentation
• Willingness to learn and grow

Nice to have

• English language skills (B1)
• Experience with other accounting systems
