Head of Paid Media
In partnership with OANDA (one of the world’s leading online trading groups recently acquired by FTMO) we're currently looking for aHead of Paid Media.
In this leadership strategic position, you will build and manage the in-house media buying team, overseeing significant paid marketing budgets across global markets. You will design the overarching media strategy for both mobile and web, ensuring seamless execution across multi-platform channels.
This role requires a strategic leader to manage vendor relationships, solve complex challenges, and drive performance efficiency and business growth, with hands-on experience and the ability to mentor the team when it's time to roll up the sleeves.A critical focus will be on driving new client growth, ensuring commercial targets are hit and consistently pushing to exceed ROI goals.
What will you do?
Manage and lead a media team of PPC, Display and mobile ad managers and experts, fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
Design and implement comprehensive media buying strategies across global regions to support user acquisition.
Oversee the execution, testing, and constant optimization of campaigns to ensure ROI, payback and LTV.
Manage relationships with key vendors, advertising platforms, and mar-tech providers to maintain a competitive edge.
Establish processes and ways of working to ensure operational efficiency within the in-house marketing team and broader business.
Report on both top-of-funnel and bottom-of-funnel metrics, providing clear insights on attribution and performance to the Head of Performance Marketing and regional or product marketing leads.
What do you bring to the table?
7+ years of experience in agency or client-side roles with a proven track record of managing significant budgets successfully and delivering growth.
Deep understanding of the full marketing mix, including mar-tech, reporting, and attribution challenges.
AI and MarTech Literacy: You understand how to leverage modern AI tools to accelerate your function.
Experience in the financial services or regulated markets is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing direct reports and stakeholders requirements.
Commercial focus with a passion for marketing and a client-obsessed mindset.
Proficiency in both mobile and web advertising ecosystems.
High attention to detail with an understanding of optimisation levers across biddable platforms
You thrive in fast-moving, collaborative environments and stay calm under pressure.
English language at advanced level
