Reporting directly to the General Counsel, the Associate will touch nearly every part of the FT Partners legal platform--engagement letters for FinTech clients, employment matters, vendor and SaaS contracts, corporate policies, and the playbooks and AI tooling that scale our practice. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in commercial contracts at a top law firm, and have a desire to broaden their legal skill set to become a well-rounded in-house lawyer at a boutique investment bank\nEssential Functions: \nPartner with the General Counsel across the full range of legal matters affecting FT Partners' business and operations\nDraft, review, negotiate, and revise investment banking engagement letters and related investment agreements\nDraft, review, and revise employment agreements, offer letters, and related templates\nReview and negotiate commercial agreements, including NDAs, SaaS and software licensing agreements, service agreements, consulting agreements, and other vendor contracts\nBuild and maintain contract playbooks(standard positions, approved fallbacks, alternative clause libraries) and integrate them into the firm's legal AI workflows\nImprove the firm's standard agreement templates and corporate policies and procedures\nAssist with managing paralegals and legal interns\nBasic Qualifications: \n2+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably at a major national law firm\nExceptional drafting, analytical, and editing skills\nDemonstrated fluency with legal AI tools and a track record of integrating AI into document work flows\nAdmitted to the bar in good standing\nA strong work ethic and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment\nU.S. work authorization required.
