We specialize in providing a personal touch and quality that many of our national competitors cannot replicate while being able to adjust to varying market conditions with the agility of a small company.\nThe Installation Technician position will be tasked to install, program and train new clients on Access Control, IP based CCTV, intrusion and fire alarm systems in commercial settings. This individual will only cover the DFW area with minimal overnight travel responsibilities.\nResponsibilities:\nInstall project devices and cabling.\nProvide testing and programming for equipment and systems installed.\nResponsible for end-user training.\nUphold the highest installation standards in the industry.\nProvide daily updates to direct supervisor for scheduling purposes.\nEstablish and communicate daily project installation goals with their team and the Project Coordinator.\nIdentify and coordinate supply of special tools and or equipment for project completion.\nUnderstands and adheres to project timelines and associated hours.\nEnsure the project site is cleaned and secured each day before closing work.\nEnsures all safety requirements and PPE are utilized.\nEnsures RMA equipment is returned to the shop with the associated information.\nAdditional duties may be assigned and functions may be modified according to business necessity.\nExperience Required:\n2+ years of experience installing security, low voltage/access control equipment, in a commercial setting.\nProficient computer skills for customer communication, project planning and system programming. \nExperience with Software House, Honeywell ProWatch, Galaxy Controls, and Continental Access Control Systems, Avigilon IP based CCTV and Bosch and Ademco Intrusion Systems preferred.\nMust be a U.S. citizen to meet government contract requirements.\nA proven track record of similar success.\nMust have strong customer service skills and be able to apply tact, diplomacy, reason and logic to challenging situations.\nMust be a self-starter and can manage responsibilities without daily direction.\nCompensation and Benefits:\n100% Paid Healthcare, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, & Long-Term Disability for employees\n2 weeks of PTO annually (accrued)\nThe last week of December off between Christmas and New Years\nPaid holidays\nSimple IRA with a 3% employer match\n4-day work week, every week!\nCompetitive compensation -
