Role Overview\nWe are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to design, develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports and data visualisations that support business reporting.\nThe successful candidate will work with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective, user-friendly and reliable Power BI solutions.\n2. Key Responsibilities\nDesign, develop and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards in line with business requirements.\nCreate data models, relationships, measures and calculated columns to support reporting needs.\nDevelop, optimise and maintain DAX calculations and expressions.\nUse Power Query (M) to prepare, transform and shape data for reporting.\nWrite SQL queries to retrieve and analyse data from relational databases.\nConnect data from relevant sources to meet reporting requirements.\nTranslate business requirements into meaningful KPIs, reports and visualisations.\nApply appropriate data modelling and visualisation techniques to create clear, intuitive reports.\nEnhance report performance, usability and presentation.\nWork with business stakeholders and technical teams to review, validate and refine reporting outputs.\nMaintain relevant documentation for developed reports, data models and key calculations.\n3. Essential Skills and Experience\nStrong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI Desktop and report development.\nProficiency in DAX, including measures, calculated columns and time intelligence.\nPractical experience with Power Query (M) for data transformation.\nGood understanding of data modelling, relationships, star-schema principles and filter context.\nPractical SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.\nExperience developing interactive dashboards, KPIs, drill-through reports and business visualisations.\nUnderstanding of report validation, performance optimisation and data visualisation best practices.\nAbility to analyse business requirements and translate them into practical reporting solutions.\nGood analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.\nAbility to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.\nData Quality: Experience in data profiling, validation, cleansing, and identifying and resolving data inconsistencies and duplicates.\nData Analysis: Strong SQL skills to analyse, reconcile, and validate data against source systems.\nBusiness Understanding: Ability to understand business data, relationships, and rules, and validate KPIs and reporting outputs.\nData Governance: Knowledge of data integrity, quality standards, and documentation of data issues and corrective actions.\n4. Desirable Skills\nExperience working with Microsoft Azure data services, Azure SQL or Microsoft Fabric.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform data sources.\nExperience working with multiple business data sources.\nExperience delivering management, operational or executive reporting.\nFamiliarity with enterprise reporting requirements and associated documentation practices.\n5. Expected Deliverables\nFunctional Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with agreed business requirements.\nData models, measures and calculations appropriate to reporting needs.\nReports with suitable visualisations, validated calculations and appropriate performance.\nRelevant documentation covering developed reports and key calculations, with handover support as required.\n6. Working Arrangement\nLocation: Remote.\nAvailability: Immediate / ASAP.\nEngagement: Resource augmentation, working collaboratively with the client’s designated stakeholders and technical teams.\nDuration: To be confirmed.\nWorking hours and time-zone alignment: To be agreed with ADIO.\n7.
