The team supports Fugro's digital transformation strategy and enables the delivery of geo-data services across the globe.\nThe Cloud Infrastructure Solutions Engineer serves as a hands-on senior technical resource responsible for architecting, designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure solutions across cloud and on-premises environments. This role provides technical leadership for infrastructure modernization, hybrid cloud adoption, automation, disaster recovery, virtualization, networking, storage, and identity services.\nPossess deep technical expertise across multiple infrastructure domains and be capable of independently developing complete infrastructure solutions from requirements through implementation, documentation, operational transition, and continuous improvement.\nThis position is focused on engineering and solution delivery rather than routine operational support and requires strong architectural thinking, troubleshooting abilities, and technical ownership.\nJob Responsibilities\nLead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk.\nArchitect, design, and implement hybrid infrastructure solutions across AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments.\nDevelop technical designs, implementation plans, build standards, and operational support procedures.\nLead infrastructure modernization initiatives involving cloud migration, virtualization, storage, networking, identity, and security platforms.\nProduce architecture diagrams, design documentation, and operational runbooks.\nEvaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and infrastructure strategies\nEngineer and maintain cloud and hybrid infrastructure supporting enterprise applications and business operations.\nDesign and implement highly available, resilient, and secure infrastructure solutions.\nConfigure and support enterprise networking including VPN, routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, VPCs, and hybrid connectivity.\nManage Active Directory, Azure AD, identity federation, and access management solutions.\nAdminister enterprise virtualization platforms including cloud-native infrastructure.\nAct as a Tier 3/4 escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.\nContinuously optimize infrastructure performance, capacity, reliability, and cost.\nParticipate in on-call rotations supporting critical enterprise systems\nServe as technical lead for infrastructure projects.\nEstablish engineering standards, design guidelines, and operational best practices.\nMentor junior engineers and provide escalation support for complex technical issues.\nLead root-cause analysis and recommend long-term corrective actions.\nOther duties as assigned.\nJob Requirements\nAuthorized to work in the United States, without restrictions.\nPossess a High school diploma is required, Computer Science, Informatics, Computer Engineering degree preferred.\nHave a minimum of 8 years or more of enterprise infrastructure engineering experience.\nProven experience designing and implementing hybrid cloud solutions.\nDemonstrated success leading infrastructure projects from design through implementation.\nExperience architecting highly available, secure, and scalable infrastructure platforms.\nStrong troubleshooting skills across cloud, networking, server, storage, and virtualization technologies.\nExperience working within complex enterprise environments supporting global operations.\nAWS and Azure nice to have cloud platforms .\nHybrid cloud architecture and connectivity .\nWindows Server and Active Directory .\nMicrosoft Entra ID (Azure AD) .\nEnterprise networking (LAN/WAN/VPN, routing, switching, firewalling)\nStorage platforms and SAN technologies .\nDNS, DHCP, PKI, certificate management .\nInfrastructure security and compliance controls.\nStrongly Desired: AWS Architect, AWS SysOps, AWS Security certifications\nPreferred: CCNA, CCNP, PMP desirable certifications\nPreferred skills:\nVMware vSphere and virtualization technologies.\nDisaster recovery and business continuity.\nEnterprise backup and recovery solutions.\nInfrastructure Automation (PowerShell, Terraform, CloudFormation).\nIdentity and Access Management.\nMonitoring and observability platforms.\nWhat’s in it for you?\nAt Fugro, our people are our number one priority and central to our purpose to create a safe and livable world.
