For individuals who can take the initiative but work well within a team.\nKey Responsibilities:\nArrange and coordinate end-to-end freight forwarding services for import and export shipments.\nPlan and manage delivery and collection of goods and assets to meet project schedules and business requirements.\nCoordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of cargo.\nEnsure all import and export activities comply with company procedures and applicable Customs and legal authority requirements.\nPrepare, review, and issue accurate written clearance instructions for shipments.\n Ensure correct application of Harmonized System (HS) Codes, procedure codes, and shipping terms for all transactions.\nMonitor and verify accuracy of Customs Brokers’ and Agents’ data entries against submitted paperwork and clearance instructions.\nReview declarations, invoices, packing lists, and related documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.\nLiaise with responsible parties to resolve discrepancies related to valuation, HS Codes, shipping costs, insurance, or shipment instructions.\nContribute to departmental and global KPIs by obtaining competitive quotations and monitoring logistics service performance.\nIdentify cost-reduction opportunities and initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce third-party logistics costs. Support savings targets by recommending improved routing, consolidation, and strategic partnerships with service providers.\nLiaise with global entities and internal stakeholders to implement logistics process improvements and best practices.\nEnsure all required Customs approvals, licenses, and authorizations are maintained and up to date.\nActively reinforce quality, health, safety, sustainability, environmental, and legal compliance (QHSSE) in all logistics activities.\nRequirements:\nSkilled in JAFZA Customs, Free Zone documentation, BOE, LGP, commercial invoices, COO, MOFA, Dubai Customs, Dubai Municipality, and MOCCAE documentation.\nBachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.\nMinimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.\nWhat we offer\nFugro provides a positive work environment as well as projects that will satisfy the most curious minds.
