The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, proven field experience, and the ability to guide junior staff while ensuring high-quality data acquisition, processing, and interpretation.\nThis role is central to expanding our geophysical capabilities and maintaining technical excellence across all projects.\nProject Leadership\nLead the design, planning, and execution of land geophysical surveys (e.g., MASW, seismic refraction, downhole/PS logging, ERT, GPR, magnetic/EM surveys).\n\nDevelop survey methodologies, acquisition parameters, and QA/QC procedures.\n\nSupervise field teams, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations.\n\nCoordinate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables.\n\nTechnical Expertise\nPerform advanced data processing, modeling, and interpretation using industry-standard software.\n\nValidate and integrate geophysical results with geological and geotechnical information.\n\nPrepare high-quality technical reports, figures, and presentations for internal and external audiences.\n\nTroubleshoot complex field and data issues and provide technical guidance to the team.\n\nTeam Development\nMentor and train junior geophysicists and field technicians.\n\nSupport capability building through knowledge sharing, workflow improvements, and adoption of new technologies.\n\nContribute to developing standard operating procedures and best practices.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geophysics, Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field.\n\n8-10+ years of experience in land geophysical surveys for engineering, environmental, or exploration applications.\n\nStrong command of seismic, electrical, and electromagnetic methods.\n\nProficiency with geophysical acquisition systems and processing software.\n\nDemonstrated ability to lead field crews and manage multiple projects.\n\nPreferred Skills\nExperience integrating geophysical data with geotechnical investigations.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.\n\nFamiliarity with GIS/CAD tools, modeling software, and data visualization.\n\nCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.\n\nDisclaimer for recruitment agencies:\nFugro does not accept any unsolicited applications from recruitment agencies.
