With approximately 10,000 employees in around 60 countries, we deliver the technical data and insights required to design, build, and maintain safe and efficient infrastructure.\nYour Role and Responsibilities\nAs a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will:\nLead Business Development: Contribute actively to the growth of our land consultancy services.\nManage Projects: Plan, coordinate, and oversee complex geotechnical projects from start to finish.\nMentor Junior Engineers: Supervise and support junior team members in their technical and professional development.\nProvide Technical Expertise: Deliver advanced geotechnical analysis and interpretation for a wide range of engineering challenges.\nDesign Geotechnical Structures: Work on soil improvement, tailing dams, quay walls, retaining walls, and reclamation projects.\nCollaborate Across Disciplines: Advise structural engineers on foundation design, bearing capacity, settlement, and soil pressure.\nOversee Field Investigations: Supervise geotechnical site investigations and ensure quality control of soil testing.\nEnsure Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety procedures and promote a culture of safety.\nYour Profile\nWe are looking for candidates who combine technical excellence with leadership and autonomy. Ideally, you have:\nEducation: Master’s or PhD in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or equivalent.\nExperience: At least 10 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering. However, we are open to considering strong profiles with less experience who demonstrate high potential and motivation.\nTechnical Knowledge: Solid understanding of geotechnical practices and markets in Belgium.\nLanguages: Fluent in Dutch or French and English.
