Basic Function\nFor our global and dynamic Internal Audit team in Nootdorp, The Netherlands, we are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious (Senior) Internal Audit Professional, to be based at our office in Cape Town, South Africa.\nIn this role you have the opportunity to enjoy travelling (15-20%) together with a colleague and perform work in multiple locations worldwide. Primary Duties and Responsibilities\nYou manage and participate in (international) audit engagements, e.g. on business processes, organisations, projects and reporting processes;\nYou coordinate and conduct the work in the office and on international assignments, where teamwork is considered key;\nYou act as a sparring partner for local, regional and corporate management;\nYou suggest follow up activities for identified observations and present areas for improvements to bring processes within Fugro to a higher level;\nYou ensure a high level of quality with focus on efficiency and effectiveness of internal processes;\nYou further develop your professional competencies, your personal network to get to know the full extent of the company, and to prepare yourself for future career opportunities.\n3. Education and Experience Requirements\nYou have a Master’s degree in (preferably) Accounting, Economics or Business Administration, CIA or CA (SAICA) qualified;\nYou have 7+ years of relevant working experience;\nPreferably, a proven track record of prior experience in internal auditing or “big 4” background;\nYou have a sound understanding of Internal Audit standards and you are in the possession of, or you are willing to obtain CIA;\nYou have strong written, communication and language skills in English;\nYou have the availability to travel for business.\nInternal work experience is a plus, but not considered a requirement. However cultural sensitivity is key. \n4.
